Career
I started programming just as I got into middle school, learning the basics with Game Maker. In Senior year of high school, I took a programming class and was the only student to finish with an independent game not based on a tutorial. I had six years of intuition to help me out there.
I went to college for an Associate's degree and poured my free time into researching software topics to the point where I could pass a final test for some classes I hadn't taken yet. In each class I found myself first to answer each question posed by the teacher, and later mentoring other students after class. In two classes I took, the teacher asked if I could help answer student questions because they were impressed with my subject familiarity. By the end of each class, I knew most of the students and had the teacher's acclaim. By the end of college, I had research notes on 113 topics, and a very healthy understanding of best practices in software.
I graduated and am now looking for career opportunities.
